CGR and DNA Energy Drink Host Special Olympians

Levittown, PA, October 15, 2009 Crush Grafix Racing and DNA Energy Drink honor Special Olympians at ESMRA season finale.

Organized as a benefit for Special Olympics New Jersey, the fifteenth and final round of the ESMRA series welcomed several Olympians to Raceway Park in Englishtown NJ on October 11. Crush Grafix Racing and team sponsor DNA Energy Drink rolled out the red carpet for the young athletes welcoming each as a team member with team shirts, autographed photos, and decals. The athletes were given unlimited access to team CGR with riders and athletes spending considerable time discussing their sports.

The Olympians were also invited to take part in the post race award ceremony as presenters. “This truly is a remarkable and inspiring experience” stated CGR team principle Drew Stoerrle. “CGR and DNA Energy Drink are proud of our involvement in such a wonderful event and want to acknowledge
the accomplishments of the athletes with us today.”

Having secured the Lites class championship at round 14, CGR’s Travis Oswald cheered on rookie pro rider and teammate Kevin Hudasko. Hudasko finished fourth in the main event and an impressive second in championship points.

Crush Grafix Racing Rider Boyd Brower added to his impressive, championship winning season by taking the holeshot in the Premiere class main event. Brower put together a flawless race and finished with a substantial lead over Jesse Morgan in second. Not only was Browers victory the first in the Premeire class for CGR but also the riders first championship in professional supermoto competition.

With the Unlimited class championship still up for grabs, CGR’s Boyd Brower holeshot the main event with teammate Travis Oswald in fourth. Oswald, who held the top spot in points suffered a late race fall that cost him the championship by one point, a first in ESMRA history. Crush Grafix Racing riders would finish second, fourth, and fifth for the season.

In their first full season, Crush Grafix Racing was awarded two out of three pro points championships (Lites and Premiere). “We would like to thank all of our sponsors” stated Drew Stoerrle. “Without their assistance we could not have enjoyed the success we did in 2009.”
