Oxygen4Energy

Team CGR is getting ready to test out a product from our new sponsor Oxygen4Energy.
Here is a few excerpts from their site:

"Oxygen is the most important nutrient to the cells in your body and plays an integral role in almost every bodily function. You can live without food for weeks, without water for days, but only a few minutes without oxygen."

"A clinical study says that 96 % of the body's nutritional need is for Oxygen (O2) on a daily basis. We can go for as long as 40 days without food, 4 days without water, but we can't last 3 minutes without Oxygen."

"In today's environment we only have half the oxygen that we are designed to run on in order to be in good health. By living in an oxygen deficient environment and not feeding our cells the proper cellular oxygen and nutrients, our body fluids and blood can become dirty and toxic.
The only way the disease-causing pollution and toxins can ever leave our bodies is to first be combined with oxygen. Without enough oxygen the body simply can't take out the inner garbage, so that means the pollution and toxin build up stay within us which can cause digestive problems, arthritis, tiredness, depression, premature aging, poor circulation etc..."

What experts say...

"Oxygen gets rid of toxicity. Bacteria, viruses and parasites are destroyed in the presence of oxygen-especially cancer."

Dr. Alec Borsenko

"Each cell of your body is a complete living entity with its own metabolism - it needs a constant supply of oxygen and sufficient nourishment ..."

Dr. Paavo Airola

OXYGEN 101

What does oxygen do?
When we take a breath, we draw air containing 21% oxygen into our lungs. The oxygen passes from our lungs into our bloodstream, where it is carried in the red blood cells to all the organs and tissues of our body. Oxygen is needed by our organs and tissues to convert the food we eat into energy and to maintain life.
90% of the body's energy comes from oxygen, and only 10% is from food and water consumption.

I have heard that breathing pure oxygen can be harmful, is that true?

Oxygen at very high levels and over a very long period of time is not optimal.  If one was to receive high levels of oxygen on a daily basis, one's lungs will adjust to the higher oxygen content and one can find themselves short of breath when breathing air with lower oxygen content.  This is similar to traveling to a higher elevation where a normal person will easily get winded until their lungs adjust to the lower oxygen levels.  For this reason we do not recommend daily use of recreational oxygen greater than 20 minutes a day.

How much oxygen do we need?
In a 24 hour day, the adult man uses (approx) 8 pounds of oxygen. The average man consumes 6-8 pounds of oxygen, 4 pounds of food, and 2 pounds of water. More oxygen goes into our bodies than the other two elements combined.

We will let you know how our testing went....
